THANK YOU ALL OUR WONDERFUL CUSTOMERS!
We've been a few places since our last news report! There are a lot of great places we're going next!
Not All Bridges are Actually Rainbows:(
But I knew that! ^_^ For the first time ever, Sugar Clay Cafe was unable to make ends meet @_@
Some may or may not know, that crafters have to pay for the space they are in at any show. It could range from $35-$450. We have to work to pay for that fee before we have any success. The LAST thing I want to talk about is $ - Sugar Clay Cafe is about making everyone happy! But sometimes, we have to pay for rent and food and its important to take care.
Senior Centers/Venues in general
At Belmont Twin Pines Spring Craft show it was a nice place with friendly people and crafters that had great stuff! Sadly, as we find that shows in this particular age group was not a success BUT there is ONE golden gem in this story. A young lady tracked me down from the Hillsdale Holiday Fair, just to buy a present for her friend! That means ALOT!!!! Thats AMAZING! Her determination and thoughtfulness is just incredible! Thats a WIN!
When at a Crossroad... Go with your First Instinct!
The room was smallish.. hazy... and dim. As you entered the building, the cold from the wind followed as if to be the very soul of the structure. Immediately you enter world of fabric and EYES. EYES on you, on the tables, the floors the ceilings and you PANIC to find someone with life!
"Excuse me sir?! Where am I?"
" Well miss...this is a doll show..."
MANY MANY MANY Customers have said "Oh this looks like doll food, you should go to a doll show". Sooooooo after thinking about it a looong time, we did! Although it is not our usual we gave it a chance and went to the Cross Roads Doll Show in San Jose. People are always nice and it is fun to connect with others. Even though is was not a success I hope we made some of them happy ^_^.
This concludes our report! Stay tuned for the next exploding news report from SF cherry blossom and future!
